Terms of Use
Last updated: 2026-10-05
1. About these terms
These are the terms of use for Systemic, a service provided by WANOLABS SRL, a company established in Romania ("we", "us", "our"). This document, together with our privacy policy, is the agreement between you and us. You accept these terms when you create an account or use systemic.finance in any other way, including through our API or MCP server. You must be 18 or older to use Systemic. If you are a consumer, nothing in these terms takes away the mandatory rights the law of your country gives you.
2. The service
Systemic is a no-code platform for building, backtesting and simulating quantitative trading and investing strategies. You build strategies from processors and can run your own Python modules on the platform. Systemic is in closed alpha. Features change or disappear as we develop the service, for technical, security, legal or supplier reasons. If a change significantly reduces your access to a paid feature, we will tell you in advance and you may cancel free of charge within 30 days.
3. No investment advice
Nothing on Systemic is investment advice or a recommendation to buy, sell or hold anything. We are not a broker, an exchange or an investment adviser. Systemic does not place orders with any broker or exchange and never holds your funds or assets. Any strategy you build, any module you run and any decision you make using Systemic is yours alone, and you bear the financial risk of it.
4. Backtests and hypothetical results
Backtest results do not reflect the costs, slippage, liquidity and delays of real markets, and a strategy that performed well in a backtest may perform very differently, including adversely, when actually traded. Past performance, hypothetical or real, does not predict future results.
5. Market data
Market and economic data on Systemic comes from third-party providers, including Alpaca, KuCoin, Coinalyze, FRED and SEC EDGAR. We do not warrant that this data is accurate, complete or delivered on time, and we are not liable for any decision you make relying on it. You may use this data only within Systemic. You may not scrape it, redistribute it, resell it or use it to build a separate dataset. If a provider requires us to cut off access to its data, the related features stop working.
6. Your account
You sign in with your email and a password or through Google. Keep your credentials secret and do not share them with anyone. You are responsible for everything that happens under your account, including anything done with your API keys, until you tell us at contact@wanolabs.com that it has been compromised.
7. Plans, credits and payment
Systemic has a free tier and paid tiers. Prices are shown in USD on the pricing page and are billed monthly, renewing automatically until you cancel. You can cancel at any time from the billing portal in your account menu; your access continues until the end of the month you already paid for. Paid tiers include a monthly credit quota, the free tier includes a one-time credit allowance, and you can buy additional credits as top-ups. All payments are final. We do not refund subscriptions, renewals, unused credits or top-ups, except as set out in section 8. If a payment fails, you have 7 days to fix it before we reduce your access. We announce price changes by email before they take effect, and a price change applies from your next renewal. Stripe processes all payments.
8. Right of withdrawal
If you are a consumer in the EU, you may withdraw from your first subscription purchase within 14 days of buying it, without giving a reason, under Directive 2011/83/EU. By paying, you ask us to start the service immediately, so if you withdraw we keep the part of the price that covers the days already supplied and refund the rest within 14 days, using the payment method you used. Renewals do not open a new withdrawal period. By buying credits, you ask us to make them available immediately and acknowledge that you lose the right to withdraw for credits once they are available. To withdraw, email contact@wanolabs.com or send us the form in the annex to these terms.
9. Your content
You own the strategies and modules you create on Systemic. By creating them, you grant us a licence to host, store, run and display them as needed to operate the service for you. A strategy is private by default. If you set it to public, it becomes visible to everyone, including people without an account. You are responsible for making sure your content does not infringe anyone else's rights. If you send us feedback or suggestions about Systemic, we may use them without owing you anything for them.
10. Acceptable use
You may not use Systemic for any unlawful purpose, interfere with or overload the service, reverse engineer it, scrape it, share your account with others, post content that infringes anyone's rights or upload modules containing malicious code. We may remove content that breaks these rules or the law, and we will tell you why. Report abuse or content you believe is illegal to contact@wanolabs.com.
11. API and MCP access
These terms apply to the HTTP API and the MCP server the same way they apply to the web app. API and MCP access is subject to rate limits. We can revoke a key at any time, including for suspected misuse. Anything done with your API key, including by an AI agent you connect, counts as done by you. The same applies to an assistant you authorize through OAuth: anything it does with the permissions you granted counts as done by you, and you can withdraw those permissions at any time from Connected apps in your account. Assistants cannot place orders, move money or link your account to a broker; strategies they run consume your Systemic credits.
12. Our intellectual property
Systemic's software, site, documentation and trademarks belong to us or our licensors. These terms give you a limited licence to use Systemic; they do not transfer any ownership to you.
13. Suspension and termination
You can close your account at any time by emailing contact@wanolabs.com. We may suspend or end your access for breach of these terms, for legal reasons or where we believe it necessary to protect the service or other users, and we will give you notice and the reason where we reasonably can. After termination, we delete your account data except invoices and payment records we must keep under accounting law. Sections 3, 4, 12, 15 and 17 survive termination.
14. Disclaimer of warranties
Systemic is an alpha service provided as is and as available, and you use it at your own risk, to the extent the law allows. We do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted, error-free or fit for any particular purpose. If you are a consumer, your statutory rights regarding the conformity of digital services are not affected by this section.
15. Limitation of liability
We are not liable for any loss or damage you suffer from using Systemic, including trading or investment losses, lost profit and any indirect or consequential loss. If the law nevertheless holds us liable, our total liability to you for all claims together is capped at the amount you paid us for the billing period in which the claim arose. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability for intent, gross negligence, death or personal injury, or anything the law does not allow us to exclude. You will compensate us for third-party claims arising from your content or your breach of these terms.
16. Changes to these terms
We may change these terms when the service, the law or our business requires it. We will notify you by email or in the app before a material change takes effect. If you do not agree, cancel or close your account before that date. If you keep using Systemic after that date, you accept the change.
17. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by Romanian law, without prejudice to the mandatory consumer protections of your country of residence. If you are a consumer in the EU, you may bring a claim in the courts of your country of residence, and we may bring a claim against you only there. If you have a complaint, contact us first at contact@wanolabs.com. We are not committed to using any alternative dispute resolution body. If you are a consumer in the EU, you may also complain to the Romanian National Authority for Consumer Protection (ANPC, anpc.ro).
18. General
You may not assign your rights under these terms without our consent; we may assign ours, including in connection with a sale of the business. If any provision of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of it. Contact us at contact@wanolabs.com.
